I don’t have any tattoos yet – but I definitely do want to get some. I feel like I can’t commit to any bigger designs yet because I’m far too indecisive so the main ones I have included are quite small, subtle and minimalist which is very much my style. Ever since I have taken a bit more interest in tattoos, I am noticing everyone else’s so much more and I’m always so curious of the story behind them, and the sentiments such little things have. Just to clarify – these photos are not tattoos that I am going to get; these are simply designs that I think are beautiful and wanted to share. Anyway, I hope you can find some inspiration from my favourites – let’s get on with it!
Anchor Tattoo
I love this little anchor! I’ve always been really into nautical designs, and this minimalist piece is just so cute and girly with the heart on top. I want to get this on my heart or my ankle.
Snowflake Tattoo
I am such a winter baby and always been a lover of anything wintery, snowy, or christmas-like! Being born 6 days before Christmas, when I was little December was always such an exciting time as I was always spoilt rotten by my huge family and the buzz of the Christmas atmosphere has never left me so I would love to have this little reminder on my skin.
Elephant Line Tattoo
This is the cutest little tattoo I’ve ever seen. I think elephants are the most wonderful creatures, and I can’t get enough of line drawings lately! I know they’re quite abstract but I like that it’s a little different to what you might expect.
Boat Tattoo
This is one of the tattoos I want to get the most – I feel it’s very me. I love how simple yet feminine it is.
Father and Daughter
I just love this. I’ve always been really close to my family and I’m such a Daddy’s girl so I’d love to get this as a little something to remind me of my Dad. I’m equally as close with the mum though so I’d have to find a little something on her behalf to justify getting this I think!
Bookish Tattoo
Again – this is very me. Before my Nan passed away she was always buying me books – she was one of the biggest influences I had as a child when it came to reading; she always had books on the go and we used to go on trips to the library together and discuss the books we had been reading so this would be a nice little tribute to her.
Up Tattoo
Now this is a tattoo that I am seriously considering. I know it’s Disney and blah blah blah but Up is one of my all time favourite films – it makes me cry everytime. The concept of the story and the design of this just makes me so happy!
Winnie the Pooh Tattoo
Now I know this is probably a little childish (haha) but come on, how can you not think this is adorable?!
Another Bookish one..
I can’t make my mind up between this one or the other reading one above. I’d probably only get one or the other but I think they are both beautiful! Opinions?
Wave Tattoo
Growing up in Devon, we were never far from the beach. Growing up my Mum has taken me surfing and bodyboarding several times and we always had such fun girly days together. I’d probably not get it so close to my chest but I really love the design of this and I feel it would really trigger my memories of the waves,
Alice In Wonderland Tattoo
And for the final one – Alice. For anyone that knows me well, you will know that I LOVE Alice In Wonderland. My house is just covered in silly little things and merchandise inspired from this classic, and I love how pretty and delicate this design is!
And that’s it! Thank you for reading my tattoo wish list and I hope you’ve been inspired! 🙂 x
