• Byhappyme Cutlery Set | REVIEW

    AD (GIFTED)
I was sent this cutlery set from Byhappyme for free in exchange for an honest review. However, all opinions are my own with no bias involved. I only submit posts on my blog that I fully believe in and I will always write with integrity. For more information please visit my privacy policy.

Personalised items and gifts are one of my favourite things. The novelty is still there for me as I was the awkward child with my name spelt differently so I couldn’t find many personalised items unless they were made to order.

Even as an adult, I think a personalised gift is much more special as you can see the thought and extra effort that has been put to it – there’s always something great about having a product not many others have!

When I received an email from Byhappyme to discuss a collaboration I was really excited – I was drawn straight to the cutlery sets when I checked out their website – they all looked so pretty! Many of their products are aimed at babies and children – they offer dummies, name tags etc as well as cutlery, all personalised.

When I received my package I was not disappointed! As you can see from my photo, it was presented beautifully; wrapped in paper and finished with a neat ribbon (I’d love to learn how they did it as I wish my Christmas presents looked like this!)

I was given the option to choose any product from the website, so I chose the star cutlery set which is one of the newer ones in their range because I felt it was quite gender neutral but they do sell sets that aim more specifically to girls or boys.

The RRP is £29.50 for the set (with personalisation) which granted, is enough money to pay for a cutlery set, but this includes 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon. The personalisation allows up to 13 characters and you can even choose your own font so I’d say this was good value for money.

Byhappyme claims that the cutlery is made from “high quality polished stainless steel” – I was unsure what to expect if this was suitable for younger children too but you can tell that this set was very good quality and the engraving was perfectly precise. They are also dishwasher safe – yay!
The box the cutlery comes in is really beautiful – I’d love to use it for storage and there’s also instructions of how to use it as a photo frame (there is an added a ‘stand’ on the back of the box for this purpose) which I think is a really lovely and unusual extra.

    My Verdict

I would rate this cutlery set 5 stars out of 5. If I had received this as a gift (being an adult or a child) I would be over the moon! I unwrapped this box with my friend and she also commented on how beautiful the packaging was and immediately asked me what the contents were.

I also wish to add that the customer service I received from Byhappyme was a great experience – they were friendly and professional throughout and delivery was fast despite being international so I would definitely recommend them.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed my review!
