It gets to this time of year where autumn is quickly approaching. It’s not as hot as it was in peak summer anymore and the leaves on the trees are slowly turning from their happy green to a more autumnal orange. I’ve had a great summer this year, but I always look forward to the later months and excitement I know they’ll bring.
I personally have a lot of family and friends with birthdays and celebrations in the autumn and winter months so by the end of August I’m always on the look out for quirky gift ideas. It may be a little early to bring Christmas in to it (as if) but I’ve made the mistake of leaving it too late far too many times now.

I have got better in the recent years but I am still trying to be more organised before the chaos begins of Christmas shopping so I have put together a few things I have come across whilst I’ve been searching – all different price ranges and websites but still affordable as they are all under £25.

Our Family Book – Prezzybox
I love this little family book. I am such a softie when it comes to sentimental gifts and I think this is the loveliest way to document memories. It is fully customisable so it is a perfect gift to reminisce your own adventures! This is a book that you personally fill in so it is a little bit extra work than a standard gift but it’s so worth the outcome as it will treasured and added to as time goes on.
Dandelion Table Lamp – SheIn
Now I know a lamp for a gift sounds a little bit odd but I think this is so beautiful! As a woman myself I would appreciate this so much if this was gifted to me. This product has so many reviews and they are all so positive so I had to add this to the list!
Flamingo Cocktail Mix – Paperchase
Paperchase offer a few of these cocktail mixes but this one was by far my favourite (though I may have been persuaded just because I loved the pink). The flamingo design seems to be everywhere at the moment, and what woman doesn’t like a good cocktail? Simply add your own rum and you’re ready to go – this mix makes up to 20 cocktails.
Hot Chocolate Bombs – Prezzybox
I’m getting a craving for hot chocolate just by looking at the picture. These look so great and are nothing like I’ve ever seen before! All you have to do is cover these with hot milk in your mug to make a delicious chocolatey drink. As the chocolate melts, the marshmallows in the middle rise to the top just to make it even better!
Palm Peg Board – New Look
I wasn’t going to add this originally but on second thoughts I thought it was really sweet. I received something very similar to this a couple of years ago from my mum and it’s been sat on my desk ever since with cute little polaroid pictures – it’s a lovely addition to my desk to chill me out (the place where I get flustered because I can’t work out something technical about my blog)
Disney Pop! Figure (Christmas) – Pop In A Box
I caved. I’m sorry.
I’m too much of a Christmas lover to not include this. I know it’s August and all but if someone is reading this in, say, December then at least it will be relevant. And there are some really organised people in this world that have all of their Christmas shopping done by November.
In my defence, how cute is this!!!? If you’re shopping for a Disney lover then you can’t go wrong.
Dandelion Wishes Kit – Benefit
If you know me then you will know I rave about Benefit products. They are fairly expensive but you get what you pay for – the quality is amazing of every product I have purchased from them. I found this gift set on the Benefit website which contains over £44 worth of products for £22.27! It usually retails at £31, but in the current sale you’re paying half the price of what these products are worth and they come packed in this lovely little set to make a perfect gift for her.
Scratch Off Bucket List – Prezzybox
I often struggle for inspiration when it comes to things like this so having this on my wall would be so inspiring! Prezzybox have released several versions of these – including books, movies and dates which I think is such a cute idea for a couple’s gift!
The Beauty Heroes Summer Box – Latest In Beauty
This is most definitely the best value product I’ve included. All of the above products are full sized which is so unusual in a subscription type box. The total value of the items included are over £138, and this box is currently on sale of £23. It also comes with a free tote bag – such a bargain 😛
Foldable Flats with Personalised Bag – Confetti
Granted this is a wedding item but the first thought that came to my mind was on a night out when your feet are hurting (naturally). This sort of thing would actually be perfect for these situations and now I’ve seen that this exists I’m so tempted to buy one with a little K on! I believe the original idea was to have them as favours for your bridesmaids on your wedding day which I think is a lovely idea too.
I hope you have enjoyed reading about some of the things I came across in my search! Hopefully you can get some inspiration out of what you have seen for your own gift ideas this coming autumn and winter.
