I don’t know about you but I find men so difficult to buy for – especially “Dad” or any Dad figure you may have in your life. They seem to have everything they already need, so as much as we’d like to treat them to all the lovely things, it’s so tricky to find inspiration… especially if you’re trying to keep costs low. That’s why I have created this mini gift guide of 12 Father’s Day Gifts to treat him, on a budget. Hopefully this post will give you some ideas to make him feel treasured and appreciated on Father’s Day this year.
This is such a lovely, sentimental gift to get for someone that already has everything. It’s a constant reminder for the recipient of the memories you share together. Of course, you can get cheaper gifts.. However, I think anything personalised is much more personal (and of course a little extra) but, any father would certainly love the thought put into it.
You can’t go wrong with choc really can you? I had to include this novelty chocolate tablet in this 12 Father’s Day gifts.. it really made me chuckle and it’s sure to do the same to any tech lover!
This is a great gift for a tea lover Dad! I love to try out different teas, but they come in such big boxes that if you don’t like them it’s such a shame for there to be so many leftover. With this gift set, there are 8 different flavours to try out (5 teabags per flavour) so it’s a great way for anybody to find a new favourite. And it comes in a lovely little gift box too which you can personalise for free!
It’s all well and good buying cute little bits but this gift is actually one that will come in so handy!! It has a space for your iPad, cuppa & whatever else you may need (probably snacks if you’re me). The bottom half is filled with microbeads, making it non-slip and super comfy to go on your lap.
This camera lens mug looks so realistic with all the buttons and dials! The lid looks just like a lens cover, which you can use to keep your drink hot & prevent spilling or used as a coaster. I love that it’s multi-purpose; it would look great on your shelf and brighten up any tea break… a perfect gift for the photographer Dad.
I love shopping on Etsy as it’s nice to support smaller businesses where you can. I came across this photo wood slice and it was too quirky not to involve in these 12 Father’s Day gifts! For such a unique item I think it’s really good value – you don’t see this sort of thing on the high street so it’s really bespoke. There are several sizes to choose from, and you can choose to have it on hooks or with a little stand.
Again, a little more quirky for a Father’s Day gift but this would be perfect for the “geek” Dad! This subscription box includes mystery Funko Pop! Vinyl to add to your collection. There are many different categories to choose from, including Disney, Marvel & Heroes. You can also select your favourites to ensure you don’t receive any items that you’re not so keen on.
This is such a fab idea for a car lover, especially whilst we’re in lock down. A 3D puzzle is a little bit more unique than your standard jigsaw and looks so impressive when it’s complete! I’m sure this would be a hit with many Father’s – I know plenty who’s prize possession is their car! 😛
You can’t go wrong with body spray! Especially Ted Baker, it’s a bit more bougie than your standard type. Boots also have a “save up to half price” offer on a lot of men’s items so that’s definitely worth having a look at!
This is such a bargain from BuyaGift, currently half price at just £10 which includes the £50 voucher. I’m such a softie, I love anything sentimental where you can make memories so I think the idea of a photoshoot with your family is so lovely. It’s something you can look back on in years to come and reminisce on the memories you have shared together.
Bit of a mystery one but that’s all part of the fun right?! This one includes a variety of geek bits that would be much more expensive if you purchased separately. This could include t-shirts, limited edition pop! Vinyl, stationary.. you name it. You can also get £5 off your first box with my code DIAGONALR-1 or by clicking the button below.
I don’t know about you but I’m always forgetting about my cuppa! This vinyl inspired coaster is perfect for music lovers – it’s powered by USB so you just pop it in to your laptop/computer and it will keep your drink hot. I’m seriously considering treating myself to this… it’s classed as a Father’s Day gift but it definitely has a wider appeal as I’m loving this as a 21-year-old female…!
That concludes my budget Father’s Day gift list! I hope you found some inspiration to treat Dad this Father’s Day, even if it’s a small token gesture.
