• BLOGTOBER DAY 2: Autumn Nails

Hello again 😛 for my second Blogtober post I thought I’d so a funky Autumn nails post. I have never done a post in this category before as I was never any good at doing my nails, but recently I’ve been enjoying it more (despite my left hand looking like a toddler has painted it!)

I thought I’d share my favourite posts that I have found for inspiration. I’m not confident enough yet to do my own nail tutorials but I still wanted to do a post as I find it so inspiring to look at other people’s designs.

    Autumnal Leaves

This Instagram post is actually a video tutorial in itself which is pretty cool! I am always amazed at how people can make their nails look so beautiful and how steady their hands are. And I really want these stencils for Autumn…

    Red & Elegant

I like this design merely for the fact that I feel like I could do it myself (which is slightly embarrassing). My nails are currently painted a very similar colour to this and just a few jewels on each hand really makes them so much prettier and elegant so I may have to try this asap!

    Autumn Quotation

I honestly have no idea how this human made their nails so beautiful and intricate but I wish I was that talented! It reminds me of Winnie The Pooh with the quote and all the leaves. Love.

    Starry Night

This is heading more towards the Halloween side of Autumn now which is exciting. By the look of the description, this design was completed with a stamp to make them look this incredible! Purple is one of my favourite colours and I’m totally in love with the night sky affect.

    Falling Leaves

The foil on these is not something I see too often but I actually think it’s really apt for Autumn leaves! I may have to look in to a marble affect tutorial now because I’m loving how these turned out.

    Bright In Blue

Another minimalist design that I adore. I’d really love to get some matte nail polish as I think it looks super quirky! I have some nail pens lying around somewhere, and looking at this photo makes me want to dig them out and try to do what she has done with the trees!

    Glittery Leaves

This is one of my favourites in the entire list. I have NO idea how this is done but it’s just beautiful and I’m totally in awe of the sparkles and gradient effect.

    Blood Spill

I love how simple this is, but I am frustrated that I couldn’t come up with it myself! These would be perfect on Halloween night in fancy dress and I actually feel like they wouldn’t be too tricky to achieve for us non professionals!

    Autumn Trees

Another reason I should be looking for my nail pen right now. I’m not usually a big fan of white nails, but the background really works with this in my opinion.

    Bold & Bright

I really want this colour! I rarely see people with yellow nails but I think they would look so cute with a little autumn dress and boots!

I had to finish with this gorgeous pumpkin design. I’m so inspired by this and want to try it right away but I doubt I’ll be able to make it this beautiful. As you can see the design is so intricate so I can only imagine how long this took her but I love it so much. Anything that sparkles is a win in my eyes…

I hope you have enjoyed reading my second Blogtober post and found some inspiration from these amazing designs!

Yellow, orange and red blend perfectly with fallen leaves.
