• The Best Autumn Scents

For #blogtober day 6 I’ve decided to post my favourite Autumnal scents. There’s something so cosy about curling up with a blanket and good book whilst it’s dark outside and the smell of a diffuser or candle just makes it that bit better.

I’ve compiled a list of all my favourite scents from all different shops with all different budgets, so let’s go!

Wild Fig Candle – Waterstones, £12.99

Fig is a great scent for Autumn as it reminds me of the trees. I find this type of a candle perfect for home and reading because it’s not too potent or feminine so your partner won’t mind too much! 😛

    Tabac & Cedarwood – Prezzybox, £13.99

Cedarwood is created from the bark of trees so naturally has a slight woody and earthy smell to it. Added with the tabac scent, this creates a floral and Autumnal smell perfect for cold October evenings. The price above includes both the candle and diffuser so it’s actually very good value.

Cosy Woodland Candle – New Look, £3.99

If it says cosy on the label then it has to be cosy right?? This woodland candle is a little cheaper at only £3.99 so would make the perfect gift on a budget.

Clementine Tin Candle – John Lewis & Partners, £12.80

The clementine smell is probably reminding you of Christmas but in Autumn you’re allowed to get the winter smells out! (in my house anyway) There’s something so reassuring to me about fruity smells.. that’s probably me just being weird but I love it all the same.

Rainfall Candle – The White Company, £14

    £14

I didn’t know you could actually buy a smell of rainfall until this candle came along, I wish I’d known sooner! The smell when you go outside after it has just rained is one like no other – it’s so fresh and calming.

    Gingerbread Candle – M&S, £6

    £6

This candle has tones of cinnamon, ginger and clove with a creamy base. I can’t wait to bake another batch of gingerbread this year and the thought of it is making me hungry…

Pumpkin Pie Candle – Etsy, £7.95

    £7.95

You can tell this candle is the Etsy type as it’s not anything like I’ve seen before. I really love the addition of the pumpkins and autumnal leaves on top, you can’t get much closer to a Halloween scent than this!

Autumn Glow Candle – Yankee, £23.99

    £23.99

On their website, this candle is described as “like a walk through the forest in Autumn” with notes of citrus, herbs and amber. I already own a few Yankee candles and I love how strong they are and how long they last.

Cinnamon & Orange Candle – Millbry Hill, £21.99

This fishbowl candle has cinnamon, orange, clove and nutmeg with a woody base. I love how unique and different the fishbowl design is with the decorative additions along the outside.

Neroli Candle – Oliver Bonas, £17.50

I wouldn’t usually relate Neroli scent with Autumn of course but I recently went into Oliver Bonas and smelt this candle and wanted to buy it right away, it’s gorgeous!

    Ocean Gel Candle

    £26.40

Every time I go in to John Lewis these guys are staring me in the face. There are loads of different options in regards to smell and the design on the outside but the shells have to be my favourite one. They are not the cheapest candle you will find but you can really tell they are great quality and will burn for a really long time (and they smell so so good)

That concludes my 6th #blogtober post of all the candles I’ve been loving recently! Let me know your favourites and come back tomorrow for my next post in this blogger challenge.
