• 10 Quirky (Non Chocolate) Advent Calendars 2019

I know this is Blogtober and all but I had to sneak in a few little Christmas posts in there! Advent calendars seem to be expanding more and more in the recent years, with people taking up veganism, wanting something a little different to chocolate, or trying to be good before Christmas day hits!

As I am allergic to milk I can’t have a standard chocolate advent calendar obviously so I wanted to share some of the lovely alternatives I found!

I find it a bit more exciting than the usual chocolate each day because there’s always the question as to what you might get in today’s window! Little things…

    Stationary Advent Calendar

I have this odd fantasy with stationary. I have so much of it that I just look at on my desk because it’s so pretty. I rarely use it for its intended purpose but that’s half the fun?!

    Higher Living Tea

I love the idea of 24 days of different teas. I worry about buying a whole box of one flavour in case I don’t like it (I am that tight) so the idea of getting one each day to test is great! Whoever came up with this, I thank you. I am craving tea every day of the year but December is when I need this warmth most.

    Yankee Candles

I was initially drawn to this because of how beautiful the packaging is! I know that doesn’t mean anything when it comes to the contents but as it’s Christmas flavour candles, you can’t go wrong in my eyes.

    Cath Kidston

If you know me then you will know how much I adore Cath Kidston products. This is the cutest little box and comes with all the essentials for winter – when the cold temperatures hit just whip out your mini hand cream from your advent calendar, winning.

    24 Crafting Days

I have never come across a crafty advent calendar before but I LOVE it! I’m not sure how time consuming each one would be so you may have to complete them on different days (who has time to do anything in December?) but I think the idea of this is so unique and wonderful.

    Technic Nail Polish

Firstly I think it’s so cute this one comes in a little box! I love funky nail varnish and Christmas seems the perfect time of year to get those nails sparkly!

    Disney Socks

This advent calendar has 12 days worth of socks (25 new pairs may have been slightly obsessive) but how can you not love the idea of waking up to a random pair of Christmas socks each morning? Love.

    Fragrance

A little like the tea one above, I like the fact that you can appreciate 24 samples of different products to find your favourites without having to spend a huge load of money. This calendar is £15.99 so for 24 sample fragrances this seems really good value to me and one I really want to get!

    Jewellery

Jewellery will probably not be to everyone’s taste of course but again this advent calendar is fairly reasonably priced for 12 different jewellery products. I really love the design and the thought of wearing something different every day.

    Gin & Tonic

Had to finish with a little tipple! Gin & tonic is my go-to drink, and you can’t have too much gin at Christmastime! Probably not the best one if you want a morning treat, mind..

I hope you enjoyed my first Christmassy post this year! I know it’s only October so no hate on feeling festive šŸ˜›

Really tempted by the stationery one or the cath kidston one. I’ve been looking for one that’s a bit of everything but so far haven’t found it

I love your list and the first one is my very favorite – I’m such a pretty paper hoarder! I just bought dragon stamps because I have all intention of sending out tons of real mail in the near future. If you send me your address, I’ll mail you a real letter with your very own dragon stamp!
